India’s largest iron ore producer – NMDC has recorded decline in iron ore production in Jul’20. Monthly output stood at 2.19 mn t in Jul’20 compared with 2.52 mn t in Jun. Output from its Chhattisgarh mines fell 16% m-o-m in Jul’20 owing to worker’s strike for few days, as per sources. However iron ore sales increased by 4% m-o-m in Jul’20.
