Iron ore production in Karnataka in FY21 will likely be over 35 mn t against the maximum approved limit of 32.986 mn t, a Supreme Court-appointed panel has said while asking the apex court to reject Karnataka Iron & Steel Manufacturers Association’s plea of urging NMDC to plug a 7 mn t shortfall due to suspension of mining at Donimalai.
