Looking into slight improved demand manufacturers of Pig iron (foundry grade) in few places raise their prices; rest continues to offer at same level
Pig iron manufacturers based in Hyderabad have raised offers for foundry grade by INR 1,200/MT to INR 28,000/MT (basic) owing to high cost of production and slightly improved demand in Southern India .
Tata metaliks, the major player in Foundry grade Pig iron market continues to offer at INR 28,000/MT (ex-plant price), with secondary manufacturers at Durgapur improving their prices by INR 300/MT to INR 26,800/MT (basic).
Similarly, manufacturers based in Raipur also keeps their offers unchanged to INR 27,000/MT (basic).

Ludhiana traders revised prices to INR 32,500/MT (VAT extra), with rise of INR 200/MT.
