Ferrous scrap imports by South Korea fell by 35% y-o-y to 2.27 mn t in H1 CY20. Imports from Japan fell sharply by 27% to 1.57 mn t and that from US by 52%. Dull steel demand and preference for domestic scrap, resulted in low imports.
