The pig iron bulk export shipments from India during Q1 FY21 stood at 375,052 t, to witness a growth of 478% against last quarter. While in Jun’20 the same was recorded at 175,285 t, registering an m-o-m growth of 68%. Limited domestic demand pushed up exports which were backed by Chinese buying due to fall in inventories.
