China chrome ore imports fall 42% in May’20

As per General Administration of Customs data, China’s chrome ore imports was 872,100 t in May, down 631,300 t or 42% on a monthly basis and a fall of 34.5% on year. South Africa shipped 721,700 t in May, accounting for 82.75% of total imports while Turkey with 29,900 t accounted for 3.43% of chrome ore imports in May’20.
