Domestic melting scrap prices in western India (Jalna) remained stable against last week’s close. Current trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is registered at INR 19,300/t FoR. Mills may try to maintain similar conversion spread from scrap to billet which may keep scrap prices stable in the near term.
