During the first two months of the current Iranian year (20 Mar’20- 20 May’20), Iran’s output for finished and semi-finished steel stood at 8.17 mn t to register a y-o-y growth of 1.45%, Iranian Steel Producers Association’s latest report shows.
Meanwhile, Direct-reduced iron production of the country stood at 5.55 mn t during the period under consideration, indicating a y-o-y growth of 11%.
Despite COVID-19 outbreak, the commodities have witnessed limited/negative growth, when compared with the corresponding period of the last Iranian year.
