Japan finished steel exports during Apr’20 were recorded at 2.13 MnT, to witness an M-o-M decline of -22.5%. The finished flat exports stood at 1.9 MnT (down, -22.5%), while the finished long were recorded at 0.16 MnT (down, -22%), during the period under consideration. The drop in exports was due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
