Steel Authority of India Ltd. – a government of India company has floated an export tender for Mild Steel Hot Rolled Plate from its Rourkela Steel Plant.
The tender quantity is reported to be around 8000 to 10000 MT. The cargo will be shipped from the Vizag port. If sources are to be believed, due to production cut, the steel maker has HR-Plate stock left because of which it is exploring export option.
Specification: ASTM A36 / JISG 3101 SS400 / EN10025 S235/S275JR/ IS2062 E250BR OR EQUIVALENT.
