Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL), Vadodara invites offer from the eligible bidders for beneficiation (washing) of ROM G-11 (4,000-4,300 GCV) grade Coal and supply of beneficiated Coal (washed Coal) to its Thermal Power Station located to Ukai, Gandhinagar, Wanakbori and Sikka (Gujarat).
It is mandatory for the bidder to submit the offer through physical and online modes.
General Conditions
- There can be a single bidder who is bidding on his own or on a Joint-Venture/Consortium basis. A party cannot submit multiple bids, either way i.e. as a single bidder or on a joint venture/ consortium basis by forming multiple consortiums with different members.
- In case of single bidder or in case of Joint Venture, at least one member shall have their washery in the Korba Area and should have executed the work of lifting and beneficiation of at least 0.3 MnT of ROM Coal. Supply of Beneficiated Coal (Washed Coal) is carried out at the Washery in the last one year from the date of bid submission.
- The Bidder should offer minimum quantity of 0.1 MnT per month (i.e. 1.2 MnT pa). However, the Bidder may offer maximum quantity up to the approved capacity of their Washery.
- The bidder must demonstrate sound financial status to satisfy GSECL’s conditions.

Specification of Coal:
- GCV: 4,600 Kcal/kg
- Size: 0 to 50 mm
- Normative Yield: 80% of ROM Coal
- Ash (ARB): 31%
- Total Moisture (ARB): TM (ARB) of ROM Coal + 1%
Evaluation of Bids: The prices shall be evaluated on FOR Loading end basis with the Normative Guaranteed Yield of 80% and with the service tax applicability as indicated by the Bidder.
Period of Contract:
The tenure of the contract will be for a period of 2 years. The contract may be extended at sole discretion of GSECL with the same rates, terms and conditions, for a period of 6 months.
