India: OMC to Auction of 525,000 MT Iron Ore Fines

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), a state-owned miner is to conduct the next e-auction for 525,000 MT sub grade iron ore fines ( Fe 56%) on 22 Nov’19. The material put under the hammer is from Gandhamardan Mines.

The lot size shall be of 1000 MT each. The intending bidders can bid for 1000 MT or any quantity multiple of 1000 MT and bid for a maximum quantity shall be equal to 3 months consumption capacity of its Plant.

Delivery Period: 90 days from the date of the contract.

The Opening and Closing Time of the Auction is 14:00-17:00 on 22 Nov’19.

Global iron ore fines prices up – Spot iron ore fines index have moved up by USD 5/MT W-o-W and for Fe 62% fines its assessed at USD 84.75/MT, CFR China. Following this, the Indian low-grade fines price has moved up by USD 2-3/MT W-o-W and stands at USD 54-57/MT, CFR China.
