Taiwan finish long exports up by 33% M-o-M in May’19- Taiwan’s finish long exports surged by 33% to 0.08 MnT in May’19 which was 0.06 MnT in Apr’19.
However on yearly basis the same declined by 27% in May’19 as against 0.11 MnT in May’18.
During first five months (Jan-May)CY’19 nation’s finish long exports stood at 0.33 MnT, slashed by 39% in comparison to 0.54 MnT in (Jan-May)CY’18.
Country-wise Taiwan finish long exports in May’19- Taiwan’s shipment to Australia remained stable for fourth consecutive month and stood at 0.01 MnT in May’19.
Taiwan’s finish long steel exports to South Korea and USA stood at 0.01 MnT each, remained unchanged for last three months for both nations.
Meanwhile nation’s exports to Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong witnessed at 0.01 MnT each in May’19.
Taiwan finish flat exports down by 14% M-o-M in May’19- Nation’s finish flat exports decreased by 14% to 0.72 MnT in May’19 as compared to 0.84 MnT a month ago.
Nation’s flat steel exports witness decline in May’19 owing to May Day holidays in Vietnam and China. Also Vietnamese buyers were preferring imported HRC mostly from India and Russia over competitive offers.
Meanwhile on yearly premise the same declined by 18% in May’19 over 0.88 MnT in May’18.
During first five months (Jan-May)CY’19 nation’s finish flat exports witnessed at 3.86 MnT; marginally down by 4% as compared to 4.02 MnT in same time frame of previous year.
Country-wise Taiwan finish flat exports in May’19- Vietnam being major importer from Taiwan, stood at 0.1 MnT in May’19; significantly declined as against 0.22 MnT in preceding month.
However Taiwan’s shipment to China surged by 29% M-o-M to 0.09 MnT in May’19; whereas shipments to Japan remained stable at 0.07 during the month.
Following this shipments to Malaysia and United States recorded at 0.06 each, Pakistan at 0.04 MnT and Bangladesh at 0.05 MnT in May’19.
Meanwhile Taiwan also exported to Thailand, Spain and Belgium in smaller quantities in May’19.
Taiwan finish flat stainless steel exports increase by 14% in May’19- Nation’s finish flat stainless steel export increased by 14% to 0.08 MnT in May’19 as against 0.07 MnT in preceding month.
However on yearly basis the same witnessed decline of 20% in May’19 over 0.1 MnT in May’18.
During first five months (Jan-May)CY’19 nation’s finish flat stainless steel accounted for 0.36 MnT; plunged by 22% as compared to 0.46 MnT (Jan-May)CY’18.
Country-wise finish flat stainless steel exports in May’19- Taiwan majorly exports finish flat stainless steel to Italy which remained stable for all five months in CY’19 and accounted for 0.01 MnT in May’19.
Following this nation’s exports to USA witnessed at 0.01 MnT in May’19 which was nil a month ago.
