Flat steel production in June'13 is down by 2% after showing impressive growth in May'13 when overall production rise by 10% M-o-M. As per the data released by JPC production of Plate, HR Coil, HR Sheet, CR Sheet/Coil, and GP/GC Sheet in June'13 stand at 31.76 lakhs against the production of 32.36 lakhs in May'13.
However overall Flat steel availability in the country has increased as India import has increased by 11% M-o-M major increased is being witnessed in Plate that gain almost 2.5 fold from May'13 Qty 17,000 to 41,000 in June'13.
