Scrap prices in Bhavnagar fell sharply by Rs 500-700/MT in last 2 days. Prices went down by Rs 200-400/MT in earlier trade today, whereas yesterday it fell by Rs 200-300/MT.
Rolling plate cutting scrap suppliers have reduced their offers on thin buying interest. Scrap of 4 ANI plate is traded at Rs 23,500/MT, 6 ANI at Rs 24,400/MT and 12 ANI at Rs 25,500-600/MT which was Rs 24,000/MT, Rs 24,400/MT and Rs 26,100/MT respectively on Monday. However, melting scrap offers fell by Rs 600/MT in last 2 days and at present are offered at Rs 22,700/MT.
