Wires manufacturers in Raipur and Durgapur quoted offers higher by Rs 200-400/MT due to increment in raw material prices.
The increase in raw material prices is due production cut and strikes in Raipur for maintaining conversion cost.
In Raipur, Wire prices increased by Rs 200-300/MT. 5.5 mm Wire Rod and 12 Gauge HB Wire is being quoted at Rs 37,200/MT and 39,200/MT respectively.
In line, Durgapur Wire Rod manufacturers have also quoted the prices higher by Rs 400/MT. 5.5 mm Wire Rod is being traded at Rs 35,600/MT.
