According to Russian customs data, flat steel exports which includes (7208 – HR coils/Plates,7209 – CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) has reported marginal rise of 3% M-o-M basis in Jan’18.
Country has exported 0.79 MnT in Jan’18 which was assessed at 0.77 MnT in preceding month.
Strong demand among overseas buyers for flat steel exports resulted to increase in nation’s export volumes.This has also lead to surge in higher HRC export offers from Russia.
Meanwhile on yearly basis,nation’s flat steel exports surged 23% to 0.79 MnT in Jan’18 in comparison with 0.64 MnT in Jan’17.
In CY17 at 9.23 MnT which was assessed at 9.36 MnT in similar time frame of previous year.

Country-wise Russia Flat Steel Exports in Jan’18-Turkey was major flat steel importer of Russia and has imported 0.20 MnT of flat steel comprises 25% of share in Jan’18
Other major flat steel importers of flat steel are Belarus with 0.06 MnT ( 7.17 % of share),Iran at 0.05 MnT ( 6.81 % of share ) followed by Poland 0.05 MnT (6.41 % of share) and Uzbekistan is 0.04 MnT (occupies 5.42% of share ) in Jan’18
