Brazil: Manganese Ore Exports Falls Substantially in Feb’18

According to the Brazilian customs, the country has witnessed a massive fall of 70% M-o-M in its Manganese Ore exports.

Brazilian Manganese Ore export in Feb’18 was at 0.1 MnT against 0.33 MnT in Jan’18. Moreover, on yearly basis, Brazilian Manganese Ore exports reflected a substantial decrease of 50% as it was 0.2 MnT in Feb’17.

China’s Appetite for Brazilian Manganese Ore

Uruguay overtook China as the largest exporter of Brazilian Manganese Ore in Feb’18 at 0.08 MnT witnessing a whopping rise of 167% M-o-M. China on the other hand witness a massive fall of 93% M-o-M, importing only 0.02 MnT in Feb’18 against 0.27 MnT in Jan’18.
