Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a navratna PSE under the ministry of steel, has invited a tender for export of 20,000 MT Billets and 20,000 MT Blooms.
As per the delivery schedule, last date of delivery period shall be 31 Mar’18 for Blooms and 24 Apr’18 for Billets.
The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 13 Mar’18.
The bidders have the option to quote for shipment either at Visakhapatnam port (VPT) or Ganagavaram port (GPL).For steel products other than WRC the FOB expense of VPT is Rs. 344.75 and for GPL is Rs. 270.39.

The length of Billets and Blooms is 12 meters approximately and packaging will be in bundles for Billets and loose for Blooms.

Global Billet Market Overview:
1. Global billet export offers move amid higher scrap and global graphite electrode prices. Billet export offers from CIS nations increased to USD 530-535/MT, FoB Black Sea, up by USD 10/MT W-o-W.
2. Last week India’s Vizag Steel concluded 10,000 MT 90*90mm billet export tender at around USD 520/MT FoB. And 10,000 MT 150*150 mm bloom tender was concluded at around USD 510-515/MT, FoB India.
3. Chinese domestic spot billet prices in Tangshan is seen at RMB 3,800/MT (17% VAT included), stable against Fridays closing
