Met Coke exports from China during 2017 were down by around 20.05% over the imports in 2016, an analysis on the latest data released by China Customs shows.
In 2017, around 9.09 MnT of Met Coke was exported from China against around 10.12 MnT in 2016. The drop in the exports was a consequence of the prices of Met Coke during 2017 being higher.
In Dec’17, the exports were at around 1.04 MnT, a rise of around 7.2% against the exports of around 0.97 MnT in Nov’17. At the same time, the Dec’17 exports were higher by around 11.8% over the exports of around 0.93 MnT in Dec’16.
