Bhushan Steel – a major integrated steel maker has increased its monthly iron ore & pellet sourcing in Nov’17. The company increased its iron ore and pellet sourcing by 26% M-o-M to 0.64 MnT in Nov’17 as against 0.51 MnT in Oct ’17.
Serajuddin Mines significantly increased its iron ore supply to Bhushan Steel-:
Iron ore procurement by Bhushan steel increased 24% M-o-M to 0.57 MnT against 0.46 MnT in Oct’17. Out of total procurement Serajuddin stood the highest supplier to Bhushan Steel with 0.21 MnT increased by more than double, followed by OMC at 0.18 MnT and Indrani Patnaik at 0.10 MnT. However, procurement from Rungta Mines, KJS Ahluwalia and Mid East Integrated steel witnessed declined in Nov’17.
Bhushan steel’s pellet procurement from JSPL increased-: JSPL (Jindal Steel and Power) continued to supply pellet rakes to Bhushan steel. It’s pellet sourcing increased by 23% to 16 rakes in Nov’17 against 13 rakes in Oct’17.
