Two cargo vessels of imported scrap are expected to get unloaded on Mundra port (Under Adani Group) on 11th & 12th July, 2013. The total quantity of imported scrap is approx 65,500 MT. According to industry sources, around 32,500 MT of shredded scrap is being loaded from Australia of vessel name MV Orient Singapore and the deal was closed in 395-398$/MT.
Similarly, around 28,500 MT of HMS 1&2 and 4,500 MT of shredded scrap which is being loaded from South Africa tentatively arrived on 11th July, 2013, of the vessel name-MV SYMI.
Vessel belongs to Adani enterprises according to industry sources; however company officials declined to comment.
