OMC is set to auction 54,800 t of chrome ore from the South Kaliapani and Sukrangi mines on 20 Aug’24. The offered quantity has been reduced by approximately 10,900 t, with base prices seeing a marginal 5% decline (INR 352-1,002/t) across grades compared to last month. Despite the downturn in the ferro chrome prices, OMC has lowered the base price marginally. Additionally, around 3,800 t of lumps and fines (32-42% grades) will be offered from the Bangur mines.
