Goa 12th iron ore e-auction held yesterday (i.e. 30 Sept’15) fetched dull response with only 0.19 MnT iron ore receiving bids, out of total offered quantity of 1.53 MnT.
DMG, Govt. of Goa conducted its 12th iron ore e-auction yesterday (30 Sept’15) in which 186,400 MT iron ore received bids out of the offered quantity of 1.53 MnT. The offer comprised of 0.16 MnT fines, 1.31 MnT ROM 0.06 MnT lump.
Bid quantity comprises of 116,300 MT fines, 18,600 MT lump and 51,500 MT ROM.
Bid prices for some lots of fines moved up by upto INR 180/MT
Fines offered by Pale Mines and Pale Plant fetched bids higher than their base price. Two Lots containing fines (Fe 60%) located at Pale Plant received bids at INR 680 and 820/MT against base price of INR 640/MT. While other lots of fines (Fe 51-54%) located at Onda Mines received flat bids at INR 500/MT.
Lots containing lump fetched flat bids. For instance, lump (Fe 60%) located at Sirigao Mines received bids at its base price of INR 500/MT.
Only 3 lots containing ROM received bids. Out of these, 2 lots received flat bids. While, the lot containing ROM (Fe 63%) located at Sirigao Mine received bids at INR 740/MT against its base price of INR 570/MT.

Goa to auction 1.34 MnT iron ore via 13th e-auction
DMG, Goa has scheduled 13th iron ore e-auction. The e-auction is likely to be conducted by mid of Oct’15. 1.34 MnT iron ore will be put under hammer in 79 lots. The offer comprises of 0.90 MnT ROM, 0.28 MnT fines and 0.16 MnT lump.
