Anglo-Swiss commodity trading and mining giant Glencore is withdrawing from its coal business and has sold its minority stake to Yancoal Australia for $293 million. Yancoal owns coal mines in Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia and has 819 mnt of coal reserves.
