    Coal India’s subsidiary Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL) conducted an auction for 238,000 t of coal on 20 Sept’22. Almost the entire quantity was booked at a price realisation of INR 7,642/t, fetching a premium of 176% over the notified price. Bid premium fell compared to 241% fetched in Aug’22 amid limited demand.
