Vietnam: Mill books bulk scrap cargo at higher price
Ferrous scrap import prices into Vietnam, a major Asian scrap importer, rose by $20-25/t in a fresh deal, sources informed SteelMint. A US-origin scrap cargo was booked by a steel mill in Vietnam consisting of bulk heavy melting scrap (HMS) 1&2 (80:20) at $545/t CFR. The deal has been concluded for Nov’21 shipment.
