India: Vedanta to auction 2,000 t of pellets from Karnataka
Vedanta has scheduled an auction for 2,000 t iron ore pellet (Fe61.5%, 6-16mm) on 27 Sept’22 from Bheemasamudra in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district. For the first time ever the mining major is outsourcing pellet production on an experimental basis. However, further developments on this front will depend upon market response, sources informed SteelMint.
