India: 52,000 t of iron ore booked at Vedanta-ESL’s Odisha auction

Vedanta’s subsidiary, Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL), conducted an auction today for 52,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 55-58%) from its Nadidih BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha’s Keonjhar district. According to sources, the entire quantity was sold at INR 3,750-3,850/t. Prices are ex-mines and include royalty, DMF and NMET charges.
