    United States ranks 4th in terms of top steel producing countries and recorded crude steel output of 78.45 MnT in CY16. According to USA customs data, USA flat steel exports which includes (7208 HR coils/Plates,7209 CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) shows marginal decline of 2%, on monthly basis to 0.47 MnT in Apr’17 as compared to 0.48 MnT in Mar’17.
