Nucor has recently has announced that it will acquire Summit Utility Structures and Sovereign Steel Manufacturing to strengthen its new business capabilities. These companies are specialised in steel structures and reinforcement and will be integrated to Nucor Towers & Structures. Furthermore, it will provide services in the infrastructure sector, including utilities, transportation and telecommunications.
