In Apr’24, USA’s ferrous exports increased by 5% from 1.12 mnt to 1.18 mnt compared to Mar’24. On a y-o-y basis, export volumes dropped by 11%, dropping from 1.32 mnt to 1.18 mnt in Apr’24. In Apr’24 Turkiye, Mexico, and Taiwan were the top importers at 0.46 mnt, 0.14 mnt, and 0.12 mnt, respectively.
