India: U Krishna Prasad’s Karnataka iron ore auction receives no response

U Krishna Prasad conducted an auction for 8,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe59.20-61.67%) from Bellary, Karnataka, on 23 Jan’23. According to sources, the auction closed without a single bid placed. The floor price for the auction was set at INR 3,100-3,600/t (including royalty, DMF, and NMET charges), SteelMint reported.
