Turkey: Silico manganese imports fall by over 50%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

Turkey’s silicon manganese imports fell sharply by 54% m-o-m to 15,146 t in Feb’22 from 33,076 t in Jan. The sharp fall in imports is due to a few steel mills going under maintenance post-winter. The major exporting countries to Turkey were Ukraine at 3,746 t followed by India, Georgia, and Norway.
