Turkey: Imported scrap prices drop in recent deals

Ferrous scrap import prices into Turkey have decreased by $4/t in a fresh deal, sources informed SteelMint. A US-origin cargo was booked by a West Marmara-based steel mill comprising HMS 1&2 (80:20) at a price of $436/t CFR and bonus material at $451/t CFR. The deals were finalised for Oct’21 shipments.
