Japan: Tokyo Steel raises scrap procurement prices by JPY 1,000/t ($7/t) at Utsunomiya

Tokyo Steel has adjusted scrap procurement prices for the second time this month, effective 26 Mar’25. Prices remained stable at all plants except Utsunomiya, where tags rose by up to JPY 1,000/t ($7/t). Post revision, H2 stood at JPY 41,000/t ($272/t) at Utsunomiya.
