China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d
Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,960/t ($403/t), including 13% VAT, on 17 Apr’25. Stability in finished steel prices supported billet tags. SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) remained largely stable at RMB 3,092/t ($421/t) on 17 Apr’25.
