    Iran: Steel consumption rises 14% y-o-y in Mar’22-Jan’23

    Iran’s finished steel consumption increased by 14% y-o-y to 16.06 mnt in the first ten months of the current Persian year (Mar’22-Jan’23), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Consumption of flat steel rose by 10% y-o-y to 7.61 mnt while long steel consumption increased 17% to 8.45 mnt.
