South Korean steel major Dongkuk Steel has deferred its scrap purchase price cut, Steel Daily reported. The company had planned to lower prices by KRW 10,000/t ($8) on 18 Sep’21. However, the price cut has been deferred until the end of Sep in order to secure deliveries, signalling limited chances of price correction.
