South Korea: Major steel mills increase their scrap bids by up to $16/t
South Korean steel majors, Korea Steel, Hwan Steel, and Dongkuk Steel increased their scrap purchase prices by up to KRW 20,000/t ($16/t) from 2 Jan, as per SteelDaily reports.
