South Korea: POSCO likely to increase HR products prices for May

South Korean steel major POSCO has decided to increase hot-rolled (HR) products prices by KRW 50,000-70,000/t ($41-57/t) in May’22 due to increasing raw material prices. As per SteelMint’s assessment, prices of iron ore (Fe 62%) stand at $153/t CFR China and Australian coking coal at $506/t FOB levels, as on today.
