South Korea extends tax cuts on coal till June’23

South Korea with an aim to lower power-generating costs has extended tax cuts on thermal coal and LNG till June’2023. Earlier, the cuts were effective from 1 August to 31 December’22. Additionally, the LNG import tariff exemption has been extended till June’23 to enhance imports and decrease costs.
