South Korea’s steel billets imports increased by 13% m-o-m to 85,394 t in Jan’23 compared to 75,590 t in Dec’22, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint. Japan was the largest exporter with 81,936 t. Imports declined by 50% y-o-y compared to 171,262 t in Jan’22.
