India: Over 2,000 t of silicon metal imported in November 2022

India’s silicon metal of grade 553 (HS 28046900) imports stood at 2,174 tonnes (t) from China in Nov’22 as per Customs data maintained by SteelMint. Southern ports imported the maximum quantity at 825 t, western ports with 674 t followed by the north with 600 t, and the rest went to eastern ports.
