India’s SAIL to auction 8,500 t pig iron from Rourkela Steel Plant

Steel Authority of India Ltd has scheduled an auction on 05 Mar ’21 for 8,500 t steel grade pig iron (in 85 units) from its Rourkela Steel Plant, Odisha. The previous auction from RSP, conducted on 25 Feb ’21 for 4,800 t was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 34,900/t exw.
