India: Bids drop by around INR 300/t in today’s SAIL iron ore fines auction

Govt owned steelmaker- Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction from its Bolani mines for 136,000 iron ore fines (Fe 62.5%). Entire material put to auction received bids at INR 4,960-5,000/t (loaded into rakes and excluding royalty). However, the bids have dropped by around INR 300/t against last auction conducted on 05 Jan’21.
