SAIL had previously issued a purchase tender for 15,525 t of ferro silicon (Si: 70% min, 10-100 mm) for its seven plants in India. At yesterday’s reverse auction, the material was booked at INR 93,620/t FOR excluding taxes, officials informed. Delivery of the material is scheduled within four months from the date of purchase order.
