India: Bid prices edge up at Vizag Steel’s pig iron auction

Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel, had conducted an auction for 3,900 t of basic grade pig iron on 5 Mar’22. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 51,700/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 6,150/t in comparison with the previous auction held on 16 February.
