    Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL) has added another 0.84 mtpa coke oven battery (COB-5) to cater to the coke requirement of its 7.3 mtpa Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). VSP’s overall production capacity of blast furnace met coke has thus reached 3.32 mtpa along with four existing batteries producing 2.48 mtpa of BF grade coke.
