India: South African RB2 coal trading remains mute at eastern ports

Amid suspension of port operations due to Yaas cyclone, portside trading activity for South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal remained muted at Haldia, Paradip and Gopalpur ports. The cyclone’s effect was also felt at Gangavaram port with limited bids and offers being heard. Prices are currently assessed at INR 7,600/t.
